AMD Catalyst 11.12 WHQL is just the 11.12 Beta driver built on 03 December and leaked exactly one week ago. But I haven’t included the 03 Dec driver as it is not relevant. Most important thing is to see improvements over last month’s 11.11 WHQL. Also included 12.1 Preview as this will be the next 12.1 WHQL driver and 11.12 Beta from 18 Nov.

AMD Catalyst 11.12 WHQL isn’t a really great driver if we compare it to the 18 Nov one; 8 driver released/leaked since 11.12 Beta 18 Nov and still it hasn’t been “defeated”.
As I said in the beginning 11.12 WHQL = 11.12 Beta 03 Dec. 11.12 WHQL totaled 1583 FPS and 11.12 Beta 03 Dec 1574; the two drivers are separated by only 9 FPS.
Comparing to 11.11 WHQL:11.12 WHQL got 2 (lol) and 12 extra frames with Skyrim and Batman Arkham City (DirectX 11), respectively. Overall AMD Catalyst 11.12 WHQL increases performance over AMD Catalyst 11.11 WHQL with about 1.6%. As I always say: This is a small step, but a step forward. In the next 12.1 WHQL driver we will finally have Custom Application Profiles built in, 12.1 Preview Driver already has it (1st official driver to have it). Maybe next we’ll have DirectX 10 Multithreading support…
I can’t stress this enough, the best driver for Skyrim is 11.10 WHQL…
If you’re looking to update from 11.11, go ahead; but if you want the best driver go for 11.12 Beta 18 Nov…
