    OMG. I do not understand and the 11.9 ¿?

    these will be exclusive to play 11.10 BF3?? 11.10 Do these have only a BF3 optimal performance and in the other games down the performance?

      AMD Catalyst 11.9 will be released tomorrow, this driver is the 11.10 preview driver and AMD focused all improvements on Battlefield 3 but this doesn’t mean that other games will work worse than on other drivers.

      The only official differences between the two is that 11.0 Preview is more optimized for Battlefield 3 Anti Aliasing and Crossfire… I’ll probably do something comparing performance with BF3 between the two.

    Do i need to manually uninstall the previous drivers or will the installation manager take care of everything?

      It is recommended that you first uninstall your current driver, restart PC and then install this driver…

        Uninstall driver, reboot -> windows finds video card and installs the driver back, FAIL.
        Just install the new driver over the old one, has always worked here.

    What version if directX is this? Me and ALOT of other people with win7 SP1 which is ‘supposedly’ according to dxdiag are running DX11 and BF3 beta is saying we dont even have version 10.1 installed?

      What is your graphic card? this driver only improves performance for HD5xxx and HD6xxx series. I tested this driver with a 6950 and everything was perfect, it was faster than 11.9

    Me personally I have a 760G/3000 setup for now but there is a few people who even have a 6900 series that their DDI levels are saying they dont have 10.1 One guy even has twin computers and one can run it and the other cant As for the cause Im stumped even on AMD’s website they 3000 series was actually the first to support 10.1 DirectX I posted up the beta drivers to these guys maybe it might help but for me I dunno probally a victim of false advertising back when I bought this comp I never had issues with any game up till now.

    So I downloaded the Catalyst 11.10 and updated my video driver and BF3 Beta still goes black on me and everything just freezes!!!

      Same laptop, same problem. It seems that you are really only supposed to be running Asus’ official video drivers, which at the latests version, do not support BF3 and therefore won’t even let it open. After installing AMD drivers it can run, but it’s incredibly unstable. All owners of G73Jh and G73Jw should contact Asus and let them know of this driver issue. We have to light a fire under their ass so they’ll see this thing through.
